Vintage Cannondale was created to serve the select community of loyal Cannondale bicycle owners who admired the "Made in America" traits of the small manufacturer that lovingly produced unique and quality products for its equally unique clientele. Sadly, economic hardships and foreign competition were too much for the small manufacturer to survive. As most of you know, Cannondale has been purchased by a large corporation; run by corporate people with more concern for their shareholders than their loyal and proud customers. Large corporations operate with the mentality of corporate lawyers and myrmidon-like "yes men" who are more accustomed to the office cubicle than the shop-bench and garage. With this in mind, Vintage Cannondale will no longer offer decals to its community as the new corporate minders of Cannondale closely guard their newly acquired trademark.
Vintage Cannondale will continue to serve the community of aficionados who remember Cannondale for what it was and not for what it has become. Vintage Cannondale encourages you to support each other, to grow as a community and to remain, with hubris, loyal to the old ways.
